    Swedish actor notable for his role in the original “girl with the dragon tattoo” and “John Wick” has passed on at age 56 after a battle with lung cancer. The Swedish star was said to have passed on surrounded by family and loved ones after his cancer battle. In a statement released by his representative Alissa Goodman, it was emphasised that “Michael’s joy and passion were infectious to those who knew and loved him”. The statement also emphasised the stars passion and love for the arts.

    Nygvist, who got his acting training at the Malmo Theatre Academy, got his first hit in the film industry starring as a misguided husband with anger issues in the Swedish comedy drama “Together”. The role earned him his first Guldbagge Award nomination for best actor. The Swedish start that was relatively unknown at this time was later starred in “As It Is in Heaven” in 2004 improving his profile in the movie industry.

    His biggest break in the movie industry came in the Swedish trilogy The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ where Nyqvist starred alongside co-star Naomi Rapace who played the heroine. The movie got international recognition and which shine the spotlight in the start act. The movie was later adapted to an English version in 2011 staring Daniel Craig as the lead actor.

    The star success did not end with “the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” is he later broke into the American movie industry the villain in several movies. In “Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol” staring American actor Tom cruise he played the threat to cruise’s mission that was later neutralised by the star. Also starring alongside Keanu Reeves in “John Wick” he played the criminal business man who was later killed by John wicks. The actor seems to be properly suited for villain roles.

    The actor is also the author of an autobiography when in 2010 he authored memoir Just After Dreaming which detailed his search for his biological parent.

    The star that is survived by his wife, Catharina, and their children, Ellen and Arthur would be remembered for his energetic demeanour.

    Every year, a contest is held to determine the World’s Ugliest Dog. This year’s competition was dominated by the old, the tiny, and the hairless. It was in this contest that the 3-year-old, 125-pound Neapolitan Mastiff according to sources took advantage of her lollygagging youth to trample its rivals to be named the 29th annual World’s Ugliest Dog.

    The Northern California crowd from the start showed much adoration for her right from the start. It was plopping down on her side on stage and anyone present couldn’t help but notice her droopy face spread across the ground during a moment when everyone expected her to be doing a show off. The biggest shock of the whole contest was the fact that the judge really didn’t need to hearken to her signature snore to give her what they thought she deserved-the annual reward.

    One of three judges who gave Martha the crown was called Kerry Sanders and is an employee of NBC News. With a broad smile and facing Martha she posed the question, “Do you know you just won the World’s Ugliest Dog Contest?”Martha’s handler by the name was quick to respond on behalf of Martha saying that she would gloat but at the moment she needed a nap.

    A French lifestyle and fitness blogger passed away after being hit by an exploding can of cream on her chest. Rebecca Burger’s family took to her social media pages to announce the death of the blogger on Sunday in what the family termed as a “domestic accident.”

    According to French authorities, the 33-year blogger died as a result of cardiac arrest at her home on Saturday. Firefighters managed to revive her heartbeat but she later died in hospital the following day in hospital. The family posted a photo of the device that malfunctioned and claimed her life. “Here is an example of a siphon that exploded and crashed into Rebecca’s chest, causing her death,” read the caption, translated from French.

    Burger has 50,000 fans on her Facebook page and 167,000 followers on Instagram. She also ran a blog called Rebecca Likes on which she wrote about style, travel and other lifestyle topics.

     A company that had been using Burger as their model took to her Instagram to pay tribute to the blogger. “We are sorry to announce the sad news of losing this beautiful soul,” said the post by Women’s Best. “Our french athlete Rebecca Burger (@RebeccaBlikes) passed away.”

    A few days after a judge declared a mistrial in the sexual assault case against actor and comedian, Bill Cosby, he announced he would be educating young men and woman in July on being charged with sexual misconduct. He would be holding town hall meetings to discuss how to avoid sexual violence accusations.

    His representative, Andrew Wratt, while making the announcement on a local news show in Alabama said “…this issue can affect any young person, especially young athletes of today and they need to know what they are facing when they are hanging out and partying.” Another representative, Ebonee Benson made similar comments.

    Bill who has over sixty accusations of sexual misconduct hanging over his head was declared a free man after the mistrial was granted in his case last Saturday in Cosby’s only criminal case. The complainant, Andrea Constand accused Cosby of drugging and molesting her in his mansion in Pennsylvania in 2004. The actor was charged early enough to beat the statute of limitation which is what has substantially prevented his other accusers of bring suit against him. He was charged with three counts of sexual assault which if convicted could have earned him up to 30 years behind bars. The judge had to declare a mistrial as the jury was said to be “hopelessly deadlocked”.

    While reacting to the news, Vice President of Rainn, an anti-sexual violence group advised Bill Cosby to focus his attention on advising young people on commenting sexual assault in the place of helping after the fact.

    It is unclear what Mr Cosby intentions are in holding these town hall meetings. He could be trying to genuinely repair his severely damaged public image or it could all be a publicity stunt. Either way it is clear that the jury is still out on how history would remember Cosby whether as a talented comedian or as a disgraced serial sexual assault perpetrator.

    It goes without saying that the actor was indeed referring to the 1865 assassination of Abraham Lincoln by John Wilkes Booth who according to Theguardian.com used to be an actor as well. After his “joke” about assassinating the leader of the free world, the actor made numerous efforts to do damage control. He is reportedly outlined to have added that he wasn’t an actor but someone who lied for a living.

    It took 52 hours of intense deliberations before two holdouts in the case trial halted the judgment of Bill Cosby who is accused of sexual assault. The anonymous juror told the ABC News that, 10 out of 12 jurors consented that Cosby is guilty of the offense on the first and third counts but two jurors completely refused to agree with the rest. The jurors voted tremendously to acquit Cosby on the three counts.

    Cosby is accused of drugging and assaulting Andrea Constand at his home in Philadelphia in 2004. Cosby has since denied the charges claiming their encounter was consensual. Constand case is the only one among other allegations against the comedian that has sailed through criminal prosecution.

    The details on the holdouts and how the members voted were not disclosed. The recent deliberations were so tense and one point there no movement in the jury room. The emotions were too high that some jurors started crying and wailing making things difficult for the jury that was cramped in a small back room.

    Judge Stephen O’Neill of Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas on Wednesday announced the names of jurors and restricted them on what they can share to the public.  O’Neill warned the jury team not to share the details of what fellow jurors discussed during or after deliberations. People from the news media contacted the jurors for comment but none was able to respond.

    According to the source, the majority of jurors wanted to convict Cosby for allegedly lacking consent when he touched the private parts of Constand with his fingers and drugging her with substance. The intoxication impaired the complainant and stopped her from resisting.

    One juror wished to acquit Cosby on one count and alleged that Constand could not have been unconscious or unconscious at the time of giving consent. The jury had reported a deadlock after 30 hours of deliberations that took four days. According to the jury who gave the hint of the deliberations, the extra time awarded to the jury did not help the two holdouts to change their stand.

Their efforts were in vain since the brother declined to make any further elaboration in regards to the passing away of Deutschendorf.

    William has been actively involved in running his martial arts school in San Diego which they opened up with his late twin brother. He seemed to be in great pain as he revealed to a number of journalists his brother’s battle with schizoaffective disorder. This is a chronic mental health condition which as A matter of fact is a combination of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. He added to say that the late actor experienced hallucinations, delusions, mania and depression before finally succumbing to his early grave.

    Some top medical practitioners have moved forward terming the complication as a severe mental condition that usually requires a lifetime of treatment.     WWE’s women champion Naomi expressed her views on fellow female wrestler, Carmella taking the crown from her.

    Naomi currently holds the Smackdown’s women championship title which she defended successfully against Lana in the WWE Money In The Bank battle. She was interviewed by Dasha Fuentes in which she was asked whether she was surprised about Lana’s efforts during the fight. Naomi’s response was that she had never wrestled Lana before the Sunday night fight. She however stated that she always prepares for any outcome since anything can happen. She also explained that she has been quite careful about Carmella ever since she won the title. Naomi added that she constantly has a target on her back.

    Maybe James Ellsworth should be getting the match against her because he won MITB for Carmella,” Naomi joked.

    Naomi ended the interview by saying that she was ready to fight Ellsworth or Carmella because she was determined to keep her title. Meanwhile, it seems the Smackdown officials, mainly the General Manager Daniel Bryan and Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon were not pleased with how the women’s MITB. Bryan is expected to talk about what happened in the match once he returns to Smackdown on Tuesday. Some of the women in the MIBT also took to Twitter to express their views about what happened.

    Meanwhile, Baron Corbin’s victory at the MITB was quite something.  However, nothing about the win was considered easy or predictable for him. He has received numerous beat downs since the Battle Royal that he won in WrestleMania 32. During a recent interview, he stated that winning MITB was special moment for him and that he was determined to leave a mark since the first day he set his foot in Battle Royal.

    It is not clear whether he will become a WWE champion, though he did point out that most of those who have gotten their hands on the MIBT briefcase have become WWE champions. He stated that he had no doubts that he will eventually become a champion.
