    Two Holdouts Declines Cosby’s Verdict

    It took 52 hours of intense deliberations before two holdouts in the case trial halted the judgment of Bill Cosby who is accused of sexual assault. The anonymous juror told the ABC News that, 10 out of 12 jurors consented that Cosby is guilty of the offense on the first and third counts but two jurors completely refused to agree with the rest. The jurors voted tremendously to acquit Cosby on the three counts.

    Cosby is accused of drugging and assaulting Andrea Constand at his home in Philadelphia in 2004. Cosby has since denied the charges claiming their encounter was consensual. Constand case is the only one among other allegations against the comedian that has sailed through criminal prosecution.

    The details on the holdouts and how the members voted were not disclosed. The recent deliberations were so tense and one point there no movement in the jury room. The emotions were too high that some jurors started crying and wailing making things difficult for the jury that was cramped in a small back room.

    Judge Stephen O’Neill of Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas on Wednesday announced the names of jurors and restricted them on what they can share to the public.  O’Neill warned the jury team not to share the details of what fellow jurors discussed during or after deliberations. People from the news media contacted the jurors for comment but none was able to respond.

    According to the source, the majority of jurors wanted to convict Cosby for allegedly lacking consent when he touched the private parts of Constand with his fingers and drugging her with substance. The intoxication impaired the complainant and stopped her from resisting.

    One juror wished to acquit Cosby on one count and alleged that Constand could not have been unconscious or unconscious at the time of giving consent. The jury had reported a deadlock after 30 hours of deliberations that took four days. According to the jury who gave the hint of the deliberations, the extra time awarded to the jury did not help the two holdouts to change their stand.

    The death of Henry ‘Hank’ Deutschendorf has shocked a lot of fans around the globe. The captor played baby Oscar in Ghostbusters II and the filming industry seems to be in turmoil recently. A short while back it lost the actor who starred in the James bond films.

    William, who happens to be the late actors brother played Sigourney Weaver’s character’s baby Oscar in the 1989 film. He gave his confirmation to a number of top journalists saying, “It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my twin brother, Hank. On Wednesday, June 14th, 2017, Henry John Deutschendorf II lost his battle with schizoaffective disorder.”

    Deutschendorf was the nephew of the top country music singer John Denver. According to People.com, he died by suicide at his home in Escondido, California the previous week shocking Denver a huge deal. Some top news reporters went after his brother seeking to obtain more information in regards to his death. Their efforts were in vain since the brother declined to make any further elaboration in regards to the passing away of Deutschendorf.

    William has been actively involved in running his martial arts school in San Diego which they opened up with his late twin brother. He seemed to be in great pain as he revealed to a number of journalists his brother’s battle with schizoaffective disorder. This is a chronic mental health condition which as A matter of fact is a combination of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. He added to say that the late actor experienced hallucinations, delusions, mania and depression before finally succumbing to his early grave.

    Some top medical practitioners have moved forward terming the complication as a severe mental condition that usually requires a lifetime of treatment. All of them agreed on the fact that the condition is not yet well studied and thus handling it was not easy. The actor will be remembered for his hard work and dedication to matters.

    American Gods Season 1 Finale, Episode 8 Recap: Come to Jesus

    Right from its start, American Gods, created by Michael Green and Bryan Fuller and Neil Gaiman as author and executive producer, has not been shy of changing the written source.  The changes have involved updating the play to match with the current time, placing more emphasis on the minor characters in the book or place things in a timeline that takes much longer to happen.

    In the first season, which recently came to an end, there were many surprisingly unique episodes plus others that did a lot of meanders for no apparent reason.  There is very little similarity between the eighth episode “Come to Jesus”, that was aired and its actual version.  The episode manages to integrate both the desperate and separated cast for a spring outing.  However, the show does not meet of the expectations from a finale.   The show ends without giving any indication or revelation, no setup for the coming season or even closure.

    The only big reveal for the season finale was delivered by Mr. Nancy bearing the character of an African alter ego and spider god Anansi who first featured in the second episode.  He a natural storyteller and opens the episode with very interesting openings. “Once upon a time.. In addition to being a fascinating story, Orlando Jones excellent oratory helps add more life into it.

    The setting is the 9th-century Bar’an temple in Yemen where a queen take part in an orgy plus a night club in 1979 Tehran which was later attacked by Shi’a revolutionists and in her turn as a person without a home in the Hollywood, Nancy describes the collapse of a goddess who had everything.   Additionally, the story is built as an attack to women by a world dominated by men which is also used an allegory for high rise of sexism in the world.  The show makes several hits at the woman’s identity using her ability to cause disappearance of people with sex. Having experienced some of her best days, she gets a visit from Technical Boy who offers her an iPhone as a gift.

    Carrie Fisher’s death has been linked to sleep apnea and other causes including drug use. This is according to the listing released on Friday by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office. A number of the top news reporters went after some officials working with the office seeking to understand more. Unfortunately, the officials declined to comment. A statement releases after described the manner of death as undetermined.

    The released report has been described by top analysts as vague especially in terms of role the drugs played in the actor’s death. Billie Lourd, Fisher’s daughter issued her statement to People magazine Friday night. She cited that her mother had indeed died from substance use.

    While speaking to journalists, Lourd said, “My mom battled drug addiction and mental illness her entire life. She ultimately died of it. She was purposefully open in all of her work about the social stigmas surrounding these diseases.”

    Todd Fisher, who is the late star’s brother, dismissed the brief statement released by the coroner Friday saying that it offered nothing new. He stated that her sister’s battle with drugs and bipolar disease compromised her health for many years and finally she was no more. He added that he would have loved to grow old with her, but her death never came as shock to anyone.

    Experts said that drug use had the potential to exacerbate sleep apnea with potentially fatal results; however the report did not clear the matter surrounding the unfortunate incidence. A lot of people still do not understand if indeed Fisher took any drugs on that day when she suffered the cardiac arrest while trying to make an international flight.

    Sources indicate that a longer and indeed more detailed report might be out by Monday.

    According to latimes.com , the 60-year old Fisher after collapsing during her 11-hour flight from London to Los Angeles International Airport had quickly been rushed to hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics. This of course took place on Dec. 23.

    This is not the first time that drug abuse is claiming a top actor’s life. Over the years, the world has lost a lot of actors to drug abuse regardless of the fact that a lot of anti-drug campaigns continue to be spearheaded.

    Bill Cosby Trial Ends With No Judgment

    Bill Cosby trial on sexual assault has been going on for several days in the past week and by Tuesday, after long hours of deliberations; the jurors closed the case with no verdict. Cosby is accused of three counts of sexually assaulting Andrea Constand at his home some 15 years ago in his home.

    Cosby is at risk of being convicted on three counts of drugging and sexually abusing Andrea Constand more than 13 years ago. The verdict on the 79-year-old well-known US entertainer could see the man be jailed for up to 10 years behind the bars together with a fine of $25,000 on each count of the assault.

    About 60 women have recorded statements accusing Cosby in the past for being a serial sexual abuser who allegedly drugged the victims with sedatives before assaulting them sexually for a span of more than 40 years in various states within the US.

    As Cosby’s trial for his alleged sexual assault of Constand comes close to an end, many people who have doubted the judgment are convinced that the entire ordeal is about the white Americans fighting the blacks.

    Many people have criticized Cosby’s case including Kanye West who tweeted recently that Cosby is innocent, and Tariq Nasheed who convinced his followers of Twitter that the allegations are more of a ‘white supremacy witch hunt’.

    Cosby has maintained that his sexual encounter with Constand was consensual. While most of his complainants are women of color, Constand is white. The narrative is that Cosby is a black man and yet he enjoyed sex with a huge number of white women, thus the unbelievable blowback on him.

    Though there have been incidences of racism and unfair accusations of the American whites against the blacks, the Cosby’s case is different and there could be more truth to the story. The comedian is a rich and renown black American who could afford the defense attorney to bail him out of the case. Cosby has even confessed committing the crime. Many women who accused him pointed to his fame and money as the core reasons why they didn’t bring out the matter earlier.

    Austin Jones the YouTube superstar is facing charges of producing the child pornography on two counts. The 24-year-old star is accused of engaging two of his young female followers aged about 14 years to send him their sexually provocative photos and videos. Jones was arrested in Chicago on June 13 and he admitted in the court that he is fully aware of the charges.

    Jones has more than half a million followers on YouTube and some of his videos have attracted more than a million views. He has featured in several hits including My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Bring Me The Horizon among others and he also shares videos of his own songs on YouTube.

    Most of his fans on YouTube are teenagers and most probably school-going children. According to one complainant, Jones allegedly told her to send an explicit video that proves that she is really his ‘biggest fan’. The victim told the court in Chicago. Jones is famous and present in almost all social media platforms. He has more than 228,000 followers on Twitter alone and has toured many parts of the world.

    According to the latest BBC reports, Jones admitted to the US homeland security that through his Facebook account, he usually hold sexually stimulating conversations with teenage girls aged 16 and below. Jones faces a charge that could be a maximum sentence of between 15 years and 30 years imprisonment. He awaits a bond on Wednesday this week but the prosecutors have vowed to oppose his release on bond.

    In the incidences that occurred between August 2016 and May 2017, Jones is allegedly accused of guiding young girls to carry out sexual scenes, and even recommending them on what to wear, talk, and record the sexually explicit videos.

    At some point, the naïve victims expressed reservations on what they were getting into, but Jones assured them of safety and urged them to go ahead. All the conversations and detailed information between Jones and his victims have been recorded and would be used as evidence in the case.

    Kevin Spacey: it is not a secret that Spacey was not the first option to host Tony Awards show. He pretended to struggle over what he could do to be the best host for the day. The right host should confidently be in charge of the event and ready to save any embarrassing moment. Spacey decided to become the host after a long thought over how best to make a great host. He guided the dancing chorus on a higher note dressed in Astaire-like attire.

    Spacey is not good in singing and dancing and tried his best by cracking self-deprecating jokes during his opening remarks to clarify the point. While he had some great memories from the show, Spacey his top role as a host for the event didn’t earn him good marks.

    Ben Platt: at only 23 years, Platt had already won the Best Actor in music. He stunned the audience by leading his cast when performing the ‘Waving Through a Window’. Platt’s behavior during his speech mirrored those seen in his previous plays. The most memorable part of his speech came when he highlighted the main theme from the music that says, ‘don’t waste time trying to become other people but you.’

    Rebecca Taichman: she won the Tony Award for her work on the Indecent play. Her speech was so encouraging especially to other women of every race.

    Benj Pasek and Justin Paul: the two songwriters won the best award for their Dear Evan Hansen. They had earlier won an Academy Award their song La La Land.

    Alex Lacamoire: he won the Best Orchestrations for the second time in a year now. He also won his first Tony award in 2008 for In the Height.

According to her representatives, the plane’s engines failed while they were at 31,000 feet, which was mid-flight. The pilots had no choice other than to land at Buffalo Niagara International Airport in New York. Apparently, the second engine also failed during the unprepared landing.

    The Hunger Games actress was visiting her family when the incidence occurred and was heading to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey. Nonetheless, reports have it that neither the Oscar Winner nor the pilots were hurt. However, it still unclear how many passengers were on the plane given that FAA hardly releases the names of passengers but it has promised to look into the matter.

    Bank of America And Delta Air Lines Withdraw Their Support For The New York’s Public Theater

    It was quite frustrating for New York’s Public Theater to lose two major corporate donors that had been earlier drumming up support for it. These were Bank of America Corp (BAC) and Delta Air Lines, Inc (DAL). There had been much criticism in line with the production of Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar,” which according to sources had been portraying the assassination of a Trump-like Roman ruler.

    The criticism online has been raging for over some time now, and it is the reason the top provider chose to settle for its recent decision.

    On Sunday, Donald Trump Jr, who happens to be the son of the president, was seemingly questioning funding sources of the theater through twitter. In making its report on Sunday night, the provider said, “No matter what your political stance may be, the graphic staging of ‘Julius Caesar’ at this summer’s Free Shakespeare in the Park does not reflect Delta Air Lines’ values.”

    The company also added that both the artistic and creative direction had reached a point of crossing lines on the standards of good taste. It was in this regard that they made the step to actually give the notification in regards to the decision to end the sponsorship as the official airline of the Public Theater, with immediate effect.

    A similar move by the Bank of America took place some hours later. The company cited that it was going to withdraw its financial support from the production of “Julius Caesar.” However, it made it clear that it would in no way end its financial relationship with the theater.

    Susan Atran, who happens to be the provider’s spokeswoman, outlined that it had been ongoing for about 11 years.

    From the outlook, the Public Theater seems to have been presented in a rather offensive and provocative manner. Ms. Atran insisted that things would have turned out differently if they had been made aware of this particular intention. The company would have made the appropriate move of declining to sponsor it. She added that indeed they were going to withdraw their sponsorship with immediate effect.
