Xscape Reunites and Makes Your Dreams Come True at the 2017 BET Awards

It is a reunion that may be many have been waiting for. After over 15 years pursuing different lines, the legendary ‘90s girl group Xscape made a comeback together at this year’s edition of 2017 BET Awards. It has taken almost two decades since the girls last performed together on the same stage. The R&B group which comprises of Tameka “Tiny” Harris, Tamika Scott, LaTocha Scott and Kandi Burruss still has the stage energy.

The group jointly performed their song “Just Kickin’ It” for electrifies and charged audience. Despite being apart for a considerable amount of time, the group proved to the world that they still has the pipes to drive the crowd wild. Some other top 10 songs done by group are “Who Can I Run To?” and “Understanding”.

Early this year in March, the initially feuding group appeared on Atlanta radio station, V103 and announced that they will be putting their difference aside and will be taking to stage together as a group in the near future.

During the interview, Kandi, who also features on Real Housewives of Atlanta, said the group has been approached by several opportunities. She however said she could not confirm or commit to anything at that time until the ink was dry. She however confirmed that the group will again perform together in the near future.

In an Instagram post, Kandi broke the news about the big reunion, posting a picture of the group getting ready to take to the stage. “We match each other’s fly! Me & my sis @majorgirl about to hit the red carpet! #BETAwards2017 #Xscape Tune In for our performance tonight!”

The group’s first show after the reunion will be on next month, but during the BET Awards, the group treated the audience to a thrilling taste of what is to come
